Please refer to the handouts form your class for the address of the Member web community. Once you find this site, click the spinning logo and you will enter the community boards. At this point you can browse the boards. To use SNAP or post messages you must register. Clicke the register button and supply a user name that other may recognize you by. (Preferbly First name Lastname and maybe Class#) and fill out the simple profile information (nothing, and I mean NOTHING, is shared with anyone but IBI Global's Graduate Members... your information is safe with us). At a minimum you need username password realname and VALID e-mail address. For our Members, we usually recommend you create a username which contains your full name and use a password which you can easily remember... write them down, as the webadministrator is NOT able to retrieve them!

Once you've created a new account, it must be authorized and activated through our home office before you can use it. You will recieve an e-mail on the address you used for sign up. Your account will be activated and you may log in, where you will find a whole WORLD of information at your fingertips! Typically you must be a previous Class graduate or be enrolled (with a deposit) as a new student to begin using the Member Services area.

Along with all of this, you will see two commonly-used menu items at the top... Forums and Chat.

As soon as you login you will see a separate window with who all is on the community boards. You can double click any of the names for an instant and private chat. To attend SNAP you will need to click the Chat room button. The first time a Java program will donwload. Make sure you have Java enabled in your browser. If your are NOT logged in the Chat room button wil NOT appear. Click the blue logged in link under the IBI Logo on the top left.

In our Discussion Forums (like an electronic bulletin board), you will see various "Boards," in which Members post articles to one another or to the general group for networking and information sharing, and in which IBI Global Members and Staff post news and upcoming Forum information.

In our Chat, we have several "rooms" set up, and users can also create temporary "private" rooms for networking and team meetings. One of the permanent rooms is the "Monday SNAP" and we hold a weekly one-hour SNAP-chat there every Monday 12 noon PST. We usually have anywhere from 20 to 60 people online at any given time, and it REALLY, REALLY moves fast! Since names and phone numbers whiz by and new SNAPs are going on all the time, we recommend you just dive in and write down what you can, participate (without chit-chat, save that for later) and then download the LOG of the chat Tuesday evening from the board "IBI Global SNAP Logs" in the Forums.
